Improvement in hearing after chiropractic care: a case series

To the Editor:
Dr. Di Duro is to be congratulated for his very interesting paper on hearing improvement under chiropractic care [1]. I did not see any statistics performed for the number of tones heard, pre versus post. Consequently, my only suggestion would be that a test for differences be done. I performed a t-test for the values in Table 2 and found significant improvements from Pre Left to Post Left and from Pre Right to Post Right. However I would like to see a deeper statistical analysis performed, e.g., a test for normal distribution to determine if a non-parametric test for differences should be used.
Again, thanks to Dr. Di Duro for his fine paper.
Sincerely,
John Hart, DC
