Definition of primary prevention

Wellness

Activity undertaken by a person, who believes himself to be healthy, for the purpose of attaining a greater level of health.

Preventive Health

Activity, undertaken by a person, who perceives himself to be healthy, for the purpose of preventing illness or detecting it in an asymptomatic state.

At-risk

Activity undertaken by a person, who believes himself to be developing a specific health condition, for the purpose of preventing that condition or detecting it in an asymptomatic state.
