Excellent contribution to the literature on effects of manual treatment. I do have a concern. The authors explain their reasons for use of SMT/HVLA and Mobilization as interchangeable since prior research suggests no difference in outcomes tested in the past. However, those prior studies did not test these outcomes with those modalities, therefore it is not possible to know whether the same would be the case in this study. Additionally, soft tissue techniques were used that could be a confounder and cannot be considered SMT. The title implies a study of the effects of SMT. This is a concern not covered in the "limitations" listed.
